“I wanted to share with you about my experience about buying my tiny home. I had been looking for almost a year for the perfect place for the next chapter in my life, which I was hoping was a tiny home in a tiny home community. When I found you and Sugar Mill Creek, I knew I was in the right place. And the funny thing is, I used to camp here a long time ago! So I already had a great connection to this community
In the beginning, I had a ton of questions, but knew what I wanted and certainly had a timeframe I needed/wanted to work within. You met with me several times to see the models at the community and in Franklin, NC and not one time did I ever feel rushed or pushed regarding this very important decision!
Once the decision was made to purchase, you made it so easy! Was it a speedy process from purchase to move in, no, but you always took the time to keep me updated and answer my endless questions. Then when the tiny home arrived about 3 month later, it was so exciting! I wanted to move in immediately, but I had to wait for the home to be placed, and infrastructure to be completed. This did take a little time, about 6 weeks, but what I did not realize, was what a gift this was! I came to walk through my new home several times per week with a tape measure and cell phone for pictures then headed off to Home Goods and Hobby Lobby in search of the perfect fitting items to help optimize my new way of living! I got to stand in my home and plan all my tiny home potential!
By the time I was officially moving in, I had all the beginning purchases in place and all I had to do was move myself in! Having that set up time removed the stress of a typical moving day with a bunch of boxes and stuff everywhere!
Was this like buying a stick and brick house where you sign and move in, no, but it started my journey of letting things unfold slowly, patiently waiting for pieces of the process to be completed, and finally to move in to my perfect tiny new home!
Some would ask, would I do it all again, and the answer is a resounding yes!! I would not change a thing! I love little home and my community!
